DT Pro Head nipples are designed for short spokes with a large angle of deflexion such as for e-bike use. Through the spherical contact surface, the nipple aligns automatically with the angle of the spoke, which leads to a homogeneous power transmission. The special shape of the head prevents the nipple of tilting in the rim base, which is a great advantage for wheel building. They are available with or without the patented DT Pro Lock locking system. Note: brass nipples are not approved for children’s products in the USA.

This makes an extremely durable spoke and thanks to the thinner middle section, it is 48 g lighter (per 64 spokes) than a spoke with a constant diameter of 1.8 mm. Bontrager Tubeless (TLR) Rim Tape creates an air-tight seal that covers spoke holes in the rim for easy tubeless tire setup and installation. The tape securely bonds to the rim and doesn't leave residue when removed. For use with wheels approved for TLR Tape-based tubeless conversion. - Provides durable, air-tight seal over spoke holes for tubeless conversion - Wrap four wheels with a single layer of tape or two wheels with a double layer - Provides secure adhesion to rim without leaving residue when removed - Thoroughly clean and dry rim bed before applying - For use with rims approved for TLR Tape-based tubeless conversion

Pro Head Reinforcement System (PHR) has a larger and more spherical contact area and is designed to balance loads transferred to the rim. The PHR system acts as a ball and socket interface, allowing the spoke to pivot into alignment while maintaining even, consistent contact during installation in order to follow the perfect trajectory from the hub to the rim.

The translucent material shows you exactly where the tape makes contact.
