For Box braking we’ve limited the use of our Oversized Technology to the V area since the levers need to be minimalist and largely act as a remote for the V-Brakes. To reduce lateral deflection at the V we chose to enlarge the pivot areas and arms while tightening tolerances at their interfaces. We robbed material from unloaded sections to reinforce these zones of high stress. Not only are you going to be more efficient with brake power delivery, but you’ll also feel the instant response of deceleration. Key differences: The Box One V-Brake are the only brakes in the Box line-up to be blessed with Oversized Technology. They are also the only model to use sealed precision bearings to further reduce non-rotational movement. The 108mm long-reach brakes are excellent for BMX, mountain, city, urban and tandem bicycles using linear-pull-compatible levers. The 85-mm short reach (AKA mini-V) brakes are an excellent choice for cyclocross or drop-bar gravel bikes.

A major benefit of the oval is how the shape of the chainring alters your gearing in two important phases of your pedal stroke by harnessing your body’s natural biomechanics. Here’s how it works. The area of the chainring with the larger diameter engages with the chain at the optimal point on the downstroke, which is what’s known as the Power Zone. If you were to look at a clock, the Power Zone would be between 1-5 and 7-11. Conversely, the Recovery Zone – back to the clock face, between 11-1 and 5-7 – is the weakest part of the pedal stroke, when the oval maximizes your efficiency. A 34T oval chainring behaves like a 36T chainring when you want power while behaving like a 32T chainring when you’re climbing. GND has been specifically developed for off-road riding. Design and ergonomics in the new GND were conceived specifically to achieve the perfect mix between areas of release and areas of support. The front part is wider and softer compared to other saddles in the collection, offering increased comfort even in more aggressive positions (for example, on climbs). The design, ergonomics, and width of the back part of the saddle offer perfect support for the cyclist, even when they're not pushing hard on the pedals. Its features and design make the GND saddle particularly suited for the Off-Road sector. The saddle's structure is open in the middle to alleviate pressure, while full-fit padding (no cutout) prevents riding pants from getting muddy. The padding features a unique double density to optimize areas of support (front and back), complete with two "shock absorber" inserts to reduce the vibrations generated from off-road terrain and transmitted from the bicycle to the rider. The Supercomfort version is perfect for several types of users: 1. Riders who don't spend a lot of time on a bike.
